TWIGR October 19th 2015: NBA 2K16 on the Xbox One

en-INTL-L-XboxOne-NBA-2K16-FKF-01317-mnco

In today’s review I’m going to review NBA 2K16 for the Xbox One published by 2KSports. This game year’s edition looks to capitalize on realism and true to life with the following motto, |most true-to-life NBA experience to date” and with this version truer words couldn’t have been said better. I’ll start with MyTeam unlike 2K15 you have to earn your wins in the mode, meaning you have to play more fluid, don’t force plays to where it cost turnovers that turn into points and baskets for the other team, usually when I review games I want to see at first if I can just roughshod threw it with no trouble, not with this game which their motto it’s so very true 5 turn over’s can mean game over for you with MyTeam Mode being 6 minute quarters, it’s one of them you better hope you shoot lights out the rest of the way otherwise you will probably lose by at least 10 or more points. Which on the easy test I did get blown out bad, but when I went back again and played the game like it should be played, in short terms realism was legit. Another new feature which I think is great and very unique is creating an arena in MyTeam, you can also create logos and uniforms by uploading pictures to their server. So if you wanted to put your face or your own stamp of approval you can. Best part is if you are not tech savvy in the sense of pictures it gives you help along the way. MyPlayer is awesome, as usual I didn’t touch this whole lot being by time I purchased this game I had a deadline to meet with 2KSports for this review. This year they also added more classic teams unfortunately being a Indiana Pacer’s fan they need to have at least 99-2000 finals team in if they put the western conference finals runner up in the Portland trail blazers. From top to bottom this game is good realism is good its not often that I give game perfect scores, but this one most definitely does, I rate this game the following

This Week In Game Reviews April 10th 2015 TWIGR: RBI Baseball 2015 Xbox One

In today’s review I’m going to review RBI BaseBall 2015. for the Xbox One published by MLBAM. This game looking at it in previews looks to be a nice game. but looking, and playing are two different things and this game is no exception to the cliché based on the fact controls wise it does play like the SNES Sega versions from 20 years ago but much more clunky meaning that its easier control wise on the older versions of this game on the 16 bit consoles than the next gen version. graphics wise it’s alright is what you expect from a game based on the original version. sound is good. but honestly in conclusion this game could have been produced much better it feels as if it were thrown together rather quickly. save your money and wait for this to go on sale to buy it off the xbox store.

Gameplay: 1/5 to clunky control wise to enjoy it

Controls:  1/5 Out fielding controls are awful already explained in the review about this
Likeability: 2/5 not much to like save your money and wait for it to go on sale to purchase this title

THIS WEEK IN GAME Reviews March 13th 2015

Hello Everyone after a 2 months Hiatus I’m back here once again with another Video Game paradise this week in game reviews

In today’s review I’m going to review NBA LIVE: 15. for the Xbox One published by EA SPORTS. This game is pretty much a overhauled and redone game in comparison to its launch title NBA live 14 from the year before the game mechanics have drastically improved for the better. and you can play more fluidly like if you were playing in the game itself. one new thing is NBA Rewind were you can play your teams recently games as they happened on the schedule. LIVE ULTIMATE TEAM has improved this year as well with more in-depth ratings game play challenges and more. it’s very identical to madden ultimate team which is great. because it’s the most favorite mode in the game you can play online as well and talk your ultimate team. to new heights. EA Sports I say is back on track in NBA games land while it has some work to do with some features. it’s becoming a more even fight as far as game play between 2K sports version of NBA and EA sports. a must buy for any NBA game fan. In conclusion I give this game a 4 out of 5 stars and listed below is why I scored it.

TWIGR “This Week in Game Reviews” Jan 8th 2015 WWE 2K15 Xbox One

Welcome to 2015 everyone I’m back here today to have another this week in game reviews

In today’s review I’m going to review WWE 2K15. for the Xbox One published by 2KSports. This game is essentially a brand new game versus the consoles predecessor the xbox 360 more features like WWE ShowCase, WWE Universe to name a few. the new stamina system brings realism at its finest you cannot have just a quick squash match like in games prior. you have to work to win but that’s how games should be now am I right? any good game does have some flaws. few things I’ve noticed that might take away from perfect score is create a female superstar and create a title that hopefully they will put back in, in future 2K releases. a great game to buy if you own an xbox one and are a wwe fan. don’t hesitate to pick up your copy today.

This Week In Game Reviews: GTA 5 Xbox One

Featured image

In today’s review I’m going to review GTA: V. for the Xbox One published by RockStar Games. Have you ever heard of the cliché? the more things change the more they stay the same? I have sat and play GTA 5 on xbox 360 and on newly released xbox one version. it’s a completely redid game yeah some story parts are the same and there is a lot of new stuff that wasn’t prior last gen version like first person mode the visuals on this is perfect as far as controls here there all the same. GTA Online has been revamped with up to 30 players per session. with being unbiased reviewer i do try to find honest flaws. but I’m having trouble finding any at all with this game. with most game remakes you notice in the smallest of details of rushed stuff ala glitches and what not. but it’s nice to see RockStar games sat down took the time to put the hammer down with this rerelease on next gen consoles. This game gets a perfect score based on the fact of above and when you think of re-releases you tend to think ah this is going to be same thing with up dated graphics of which its most definitely not. yeah some things are same but just as much if not more have been added into the xbox one version.

Killer Instinct Season 2 Ultra Ed Review 11/9/14

Featured image

In today’s review I’m going to review Killer Instinct: Season 2 Ultra Ed. for the Xbox One published by Microsoft Studios. this game here is a great fighter genre game. you got all the excitement of street fighter mortal kombat rolled into one this includes all characters from season one with new characters TJ Combo and Maya. who were in original earlier versions of KI with more characters to be revealed when those DLC’s are released. you got online mode which is great to go up against the best or play exhibition. plus new feature is survival mode see how far you can last kind of mode. great challenging ai keeps you altering how you handle each bout. great game. and as for KI 2 arcade add on. this one is great and replicates that actual arcade edition no more needs to be said here other than it includes online mode as well.

This week in game reviews, “TWIGR” Alien: Isolation for the xbox one

Featured image

In today’s review I’m going to review Alien: Isolation for the Xbox One published by Sega Of America. this isn’t your typical first person shoot game as colonial marines was for xbox 360. this is a survival horror, game meaning you have to strategic go about your way thru every section of the game. and I do mean every section of the game. you can build weapons and noise makers to distract enemies and you have to use each one sparingly because if you get too gun-ho with it the latter part of the game will become more difficult. I learned very quickly not to out run the big Alien, He will get you every time. hence the game over sequence hints on how to do some things. graphics this is probably the best I’ve seen thus far on an xbox one game. it’s very addicting if you’re willing to put the play time into it. this is currently my game of the year pick up there with wolfenstein the new order

Controls:  5/5 great game mechanics.

This Week in Game Reviews “TWIGR” NBA 2K15 Xbox One Review

Featured image

In today’s review I’m going to review NBA 2K15 for the Xbox One published by 2KSPORTS This year’s version of NBA 2k has been completely revamped in announcing with pre game show done by NBA on TNT’S Shaq and EJ, game play is also superb especially when it comes to rebounding and at the rim defense. the new shooting meter takes some adjusting to. but hey its why we pay money for games right? so it’s a challenge and just not the same thing as last year. it’s a high replay value with the addition of 2KTV is also nice and all the features from 14 have returned as well. I say it’s a game you should buy if you’re a hoops fan.

Game Review: Sherlock Holmes Crimes and punishments for the Xbox one

Featured image

In today’s review I’m going to review Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments for the Xbox One published by Maximum Games

Be prepared to put your mind to work in this new Sherlock Holmes game, this isn’t you’re ordinary I spy game you have to find clues talk to people around the crime scene interrogate possible suspects. makes for a deep game as far as playability. not to mention the game is worth price of purchase. this is a game for you, if you like thinking, and puzzles, mystery. you should definitely go and purchase today. Frogware the company that developed this game, did a great job with game mechanics. visuals audios. this is one of them games you most definitely do not want to “leave stones unturned” because if you do it could affect the outcome of the end result as far as the crime scene evidence is concerned. just as old school games get difficult as you go this one is no different. each case is harder than previous. which adheres to the score given
